Man on Mars
‘Man on Mars’ plays around with scale to create a slightly surreal composition that juxtaposes everyday items, sports and hobbies with the hint of a vintage aesthetic. The witty peculiarities combined with subtle gold foil and muted colours make for a playful alternative to a regular male range.
Joy of sending a card
Forget email, Facebook, Twitter and texts, when all’s said and done, it’s greeting cards we choose to show how much we care.
Make a real and lasting impression: send a card!
A professional cartoonist for 30 years, David Haldine’s work regularly appears in magazines and national newspapers. He started working on cards this year exclusively for Woodmansterne. Extremely versatile, David has been tailoring his wit and invention into wry looks at everyday life with short punchy captions and lively splashes of colour.
Originally specialising in fine art, today we publish cards for all seasons and for every occasion, regularly winning industry design awards across more categories than any other publisher.
We are dedicated to assisting personal communication through the sharing of beautiful images – well designed, authentically sourced and meticulously reproduced.
We love collaborating and are always looking for new range ideas as well as images to update our collections. We are very keen to receive ideas and links to artwork from emerging and established artists, designers and photographers.

What Makes Us Different?
To mark our 65th year in business, we’ve created a film based on our core values, which invites you to take a look behind the scenes at Woodmansterne.
