Naming Day Ceremony of our brand-new Printing Press

Two weeks ago, we marked a truly special milestone with the Naming Day Ceremony of our brand-new printing press!
It was an honour to officially unveil “The Croxley Press” - proudly named to honour our heritage, with our business having produced on the site of the Croxley Paper Mill for nearly 70 years. With production now sited in our new building in Milton Keynes, this moment was not just about new beginnings, but also reflection and gratitude.
We were thrilled to celebrate with colleagues past and present, trusted partners, and long-time supporters. From the exciting name reveal and exclusive behind-the-scenes tours to a delicious barbecue, it was a day to remember.
It was a very special moment for Seth Woodmansterne, Managing Director, who unveiled our beautiful cast iron plaque alongside his father, Paul, and son, Peregrine.
Seth had a few words of thanks – ‘Thank you to Komori, GLP, Clark EG, Natwest - all great partners and supporters to whom we’re very grateful. Thanks also to those of the production team, many of whom have worked for the business for decades! Thanks also to Jon Tonks who so brilliantly captured for posterity our team in Croxley before the move was made.
Thanks to our superstar Rhiannon, who managed the massive project to its successful conclusion. And thanks to all the Woody team who have helped navigate and keep all the wheels turning through this major change.’
We’re so grateful, and excited for what this new chapter will bring!
